RENIU

RE: to return, again; NIU (Samoan): fresh coconut

RENIU (Renew) is a culturally-responsive one on one mentoring program that is designed to support the transition and re-integration of vulnerable young Pasifika people back into the community, as well as the prevention of crime.

RENIU embraces the cultural identity and heritage of the young person by reconnecting them to their culture, family and community. This fosters the young persons key social protective factors and enhances their holistic wellbeing. RENIU also empowers leadership by working toward their individual personal and professional goals.
